\nAs I have shared in class discussion, I do not believe that the content included in Lady Gaga's songs necessarily means that she participates in the actions she addresses.
\nI have brought up the fact that sex sells. I think that Lady Gaga can be considered a super star, and has gained great success in what she does because of the content that her songs consist of.
\n
\nI do not believe that any person NEEDS to be celibate, I think the decision made is based off of that particular persons own fe4elings.
\n
\nLady Gaga has proven to have a tremendous impact on her fans. I would not be too surprised if her "little monsters" do follow in the same celibate path as she does.
\nWhile believe that her fans will uphold the same life style as she does, her songs also have a great impact on the fans and can also alter their thoughts and way of living.
\n
\nI do not believe that this would have as great a impact on society if it were a male pop star. However to most 13+ females she is a spoiled, annoying, 16 yr. old who dates 22 yr. old guys and performs on stripper poles for prestigous award ceremonies. (sorry...my hate for her burns with the intensity of a thousand suns) The point that I'm trying to get across is, looks can be decieving.
