"Center for Women's Business Research - Economic Impact Study." Center for Women's
Business Research -. Web. 28 Apr. 2011.
<http: www.womensbusinessresearchcenter.org/research/economicimpactstud/>.
I found this site full of information about women in the business world. They wrote a pdf on a study to establish how women-owned businesses impact the United States economy. The state many liable statistics and facts. This site helps me support more on how women become business owners and the different paths that they take as entrepreneurs.
El-Faizy, Monique. "Career Advice for Working Mothers - Career Tips for Moms at Work -
Marie Claire." Hairstyles for Women, Fashion, Beauty Products, and Relationship Advice - Marie Claire. Web. 10 May 2011. <http://www.marieclaire.com/career- money/jobs/working-mothers-career-tips>.
On the Marie Claire website, they wrote an article on how being a mom can affect your position in the office and how you can be looked down upon. I used this article as an example, how women can easily lose men’s respect because they have a child and how men think women won’t be able to handle being a mom and be devoted to their job at the same time.
Frank, Robert. "Why Aren’t There More Rich Women Entrepreneurs? - The Wealth Report - WSJ." WSJ Blogs - WSJ. 23 Apr. 2008. Web. 28 Apr. 2011.
<http://blogs.wsj.com/wealth/2008/04/23/why-arent-there-more-rich-women- entrepreneurs/>.
This article was helpful because Frank gave a similar, but a little different opinion about why women aren’t as rich as the men are in America. He states a lot of supporting facts on the small number of successful and rich entrepreneur women. He also supports my theory that women are more devoted different aspects in their such as their family than starting a business.
"Interview with Liz Hamburg." E-mail interview. 9 May 2011.
Although, my interview with Liz Hamburg didn’t go into depth in ay of the answers I asked her, but she did recommend me to a helpful site about how different organizations encourage women in the business world.
"Liz Hamburg: Why Aren't There More Women Starting High Growth Businesses?" Breaking
News and Opinion on The Huffington Post. Web. 27 Apr. 2011. <http: www.huffingtonpost.com/liz-hamburg/why-arent-there-more-wome_b_613197.html>.
I used Hamburg's statistics and her psychological reasoning for my reason why women aren't as rich as women. In addition, Hamburg said that women's businesses tend to not have a big impact on the community as the men, therefore supports my statement that men are richer than women. She also mentioned some of the ways how Summit, a foundation, is encouraging women to start more businesses, which I can use as part of my conclusion.
Maltby, Anna. "Women in Business Statistics - How Women Get Ahead in Business - Marie
Claire." Hairstyles for Women, Fashion, Beauty Products, and Relationship Advice - Marie Claire. 17 May 2010. Web. 10 May 2011. <http://www.marieclaire.com/career- money/jobs/articles/is-playing-by-the-rules-killing-your-career>.
This is another article from Marie Claire with a very interesting opinion how women
have to act in the business world and they have less leeway to make error than men. I used this source to support my reasoning why women have a harder time making money. This article helps me explain why it is easier for men to get ahead than women.
"The Richest People in America 2010 - Forbes.com." Information for the World's Business
Leaders - Forbes.com. N.p., n.d. Web. 27 Feb. 2011. <http://www.forbes.com/
wealth/forbes-400/list>.
This site was helpful because I based my rankings of the richest people in America according to the Forbes List. It helped me get a general idea who the richest people were and what they were like. This site also has very basic details about the person such as their net worth, age, marital status, and their occupation. Therefore, I can compare, contrast, and analyze what makes someone rich and successful.
"Working In Heels Podcast » 2007 » January » 31." Welcome to WomensMedia. Web. 4 May
2011 <http://womensmedia.com/podcast/2007/01/31/>.
The women’s media website was very helpful with my research. I was able to find a podcast that basically explained all the reasons why women get paid less and I would agree. I used this information to help me support my assumption that men make more money than women. The podcast helped me understand the views society had on women and the situations they have to deal with in the workforce.

Dec. 2010. Web. 28 Mar. 2011. <http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A_MsmbERGmg>.
This youtube video is an interview of Oprah with Barbara Walters. I found this video helpful because I want to know what made Oprah her a billionaire and her challenges to overcome. It gave me an idea how hard she had to work to where she is today. The information she gives to Walters is incredible and really brought out her personality, which I know helped her become rich and successful.
