Women in MusicOn November 4 and 5 we will be proud to welcome the 2009-2010 Tam Young Arts Chair, Nate Chinen, to our classroom.

He has received multiple honors from the Jazz Journalists Association, including an award for Best Book About Jazz, for Myself Among Others: A Life in Music (2003), which he wrote with the impresario George Wein. Since 2004 he has been a columnist for JazzTimes. He is a 1994 graduate of Iolani School.
