Reece: The articles that we picked went over the stresses, pressures, and rewards that boys and girls receive in the whole "promposal" process. However, both articles seemed to focus on the stresses and pressures that promposals bring on boys and girls. I am all for being simple, however, I feel that high school is a time to make the memories that will stay with you forever. Much like the Taco Bell commercial, nobody remembers that time where the kick returner took a knee in the endzone for a touchback. The way I see it, we will never have another prom again, and we will never have the opportunity to create a romantic fantasy for ourselves and for someone else. Why not do it big? With regards to the same sex couples, I am absolutely for it. Why are they excluded because of a choice they make? They shouldn't be robbed of an experience as memorable as prom simply because of their sexuality.

The article that we chose discusses the diversity and contradictory of asking an individual to prom or a function. I feel that I can agree with each argument that all of the teens defend. They discuss the controversy of a girl asking a boy to prom, and I feel like that is more than expectable, but the again, I would prefer getting asked. All girls hope to get a promprosal, whether they'll admit it or not, it's an act of attention and the excitement of surprise. When reading about same sex couples, I support their notions of going together, and believe that is only fair for them to be included. Promposals are nationally popular and no matter the gender, they always cause some stress.
