You will create your portfolio as an iBook on Book Creator. It should include the following elements:
A HOME PAGE with an introduction. Who are you? What were the main things you wanted to learn from this course? (150 words)
FIVE CHAPTERS OR SECTIONS:
1. BLOG. A link to your blog, with an introduction. What was your blogging experience like for you? Which blog entry was most meaningful? (150 words)Copy and paste the text of the one that meant the most.
2. WRITING. Create subsections for each of the following: Gender Lessons/Coming of Age Paper Media Paper Persepolis writing
Include the full corrected text, each with a paragraph that states what you learned from the essay. (100 words each) Also, link it back to the actual wiki page that describes the assignment. Your position paper and research paper need not be included here. They will appear in your project section. See below.
3. CURRENT EVENT. In 150 words, describe the impact the current events had on you as a learner. Include two links on the page: Your own current event (the one you presented) and another that impacted you.
4. PROJECT. A separate section on your final project. The main page should include a summary of your project along with the essential question. It should also include links to the following subpages: A. The full text of your proposal, fully written and corrected. B. Your editorial, fully corrected with a 100 word introduction. C. Your research paper, fully corrected with a 100 word introduction. D. A representation of your final product, either as a photograph or as a link (if it's a video, for instance). 100 word introduction. E. Your final thoughts/conclusions on the topic. Where do we go from here? (200 words)
You should provide enough words here to give the reader a full vision of your project experience. Introduce your position and research papers. Show how your journey went from one place to another.
5. A FINAL REFLECTION of your work in the course. What have you learned? What will you take away from it? How will you APPLY your learning? Include here a section on the final project, specifically. (300 words)
OTHER ISSUES:
1. Put everything together in a neat, organized, yet attractive way. 2. Find pictures that will make your pages LINK EACH ONE BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL SOURCE. 3. You should also find places to embed one video and two different outside links (Hint--your final assessment section would be a great place for this). 4. Include at least one sound element. It can be your voice or some music, but make sure it applies.
This is a lot of work, but it's mostly record keeping. You can post things as soon as they are complete, and add your comments and layout when appropriate.

Good luck!
Here's a good sample.
This one's fabulous, too!
