Persepolis, by Marjane Satrapi, is a graphic novel about her life. Although it was very well done, I felt very unsettled about one of the parts.
When Marji was younger, God used to always visit her, and then one day, she told Him to leave her alone. Because she said this, he disappeared for a good 150 pages. Then, out of nowhere, He comes back for a page, then leaves again. I created these panels to show what might have happened to God in Marjane's life and where he might have gone off to. I learned that pieces of writing are sometimes very amazing because some parts can be interpreted in different ways. This was just my interpretation on what happened to God; you may think otherwise.
