1. Grab a box of instant Mapo tofu.
2. Throw away the box with the instructions on it. You won't need it!
3. Heat up a pan with a tiny bit of oil first.
4. Once the oil is substantially hot, throw some ground meat in and stir until it is fully cooked.
5. Throw in the Mapo tofu sauce and stir it consistently so that the sauce properly coats the meat.
6. But then jerk your hand back every few seconds to mess up the consistency.
7. Then pulling out some tofu, dice them up into little cubes. Use the soft silken tofu though, not the hard one.
8. Throw that into the mix as well.
9. Continue to lightly stir so that the sauce envelopes the meat and tofu.
10. Without really thinking about how much you're putting in, just pull out your handy dandy bottle of Tabasco and pour lots in!
11. Allow this to simmer for awhile, so you can just go into the living room and watch tv for awhile.
12. Once you smell the Mapo tofu distinctly, run into the kitchen and turn off the stove!
13. Scoop out a plate of rice, and lay the Mapo tofu on top of it. Just to make sure it's spicy enough though, add a couple of more drops of Tabasco.
14. Then you're done! You've just made Mapo tofu: Pedro style!
