For this assignment, we had to create a final panel for the book we finished called Persepolis. For my final panel, I drew and wrote about how Marji lost touch with God but he came to her the day before she would depart to be on her own. When she was little, God came to visit her to give her guidance. She finally feels at peace with herself and her life when God visits her. He reassures her that she is going down the right path now and he will always be there to guide her and help her. From this panel and the book, I learned a lot about culture and self realization. Sometimes we get carried away on how to fit in and how to deal with situations in the wrong way. But when you finally discover your true self and your "path," then you can be at peace with yourself.
