For my final project, the product I created was a video to educate people about the existence of chivalry in modern society. I actually really enjoyed researching this topic. I had no idea of where chivalry originated from until now. It's also amazing how differently society views chivalry now. Finding research to answer my essential question was the most difficult part. The best part about this final product was filming my family and friends and putting the clips together. I think people will really enjoy this video because it's humorous but you can also learn a lot from it. In the end, I found that there is no right or wrong answer to my essential question. However, some believe that chivalry is completely dead, or does not exist because we do not live in the proper era to be considered chivalrous. Both of these answers are true in different ways. I found that the chivalry our society views will always exist as long as their are people who give and receive chivalrous gestures. This is not only directed towards the men, but women as well. Women shouldn't always reject gentlemanly gestures because it makes men conscious about the next time they want to show their manners and respect towards a lady. From this point, all that there is left to do is make sure that society does not let chivalry disappear. As long as their chivalry, we know that there are decent men in this world who have the qualities of a gentleman that are important to women. I hope everyone enjoys watching this video and learns a thing or two about chivalry and themselves.
