Personal Definition As a male there are many things that come to mind when you hear the words masculine and feminine. Being a masculine figure, I feel that the definition is something with a lot of strong qualities that have to do with authority or power and with a feminine quality of someone who is soft and caring. Even though there are many different definitions to these words I feel they fit them the best. Although males are considered masculine and females are considered feminine, both features are attracted to both sexes. When you first hear the word masculine or feminine some of the things that come to mind are lifting weights and hard core working out are masculine things that guys do and tea parties and shopping are feminine things that women do. But there are even some cases where women have a masculine side and some males have a feminine side. The two words apply for both males and females and one cannot judge another just because of a single word. I feel even though some guys may seem very masculine with their confidence, weight lifting, trucks, and their authority. They may also have a feminine side as well, enjoying parties, socializing, shopping and getting groomed. There are a lot of similarities between the two words and which way they go. One word can’t be placed for the males and one for the women, but both words can be interchanged for both sexes. You may not realize it but many women and men have both masculine and feminine tendencies and features that are shared by both sexes that may only seem for male or females.
