John's Macaroons
A macaroon may be a delicious dessert, but it does not completely satisfy the craving. Although a good snack, it will always leave you wanting more. There are also many other desserts that are a better choice than macaroons, but this dessert is not distasteful. While a brilliant candidate for a sufficient treat, the macaroon will not win against truly wanted desserts. One macaroon is not enough!
Ingredients:
- One cup confectioners sugar (lumpy/grainy sugar that represents the bumpy relationship with Tita)
- 3/4cup almond flour (more tasty than regular flour, which adds to the enticement of John)
- two large egg whites, room temperature (egg whites show pure intention of John)
- pinch of cream of tartar (tart essence that represents the small rejection Tita has towards John)
- 1/4 cup super fine sugar (the nice and smooth life Tita could have with John)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 31/2 of milk chocolate
- 1 tablespoon unseated butter
-these three ingredients make the chocolate ganache that fills the macaroon, which shows the sweet character of John
Directions:
Bake the confectioners sugar and flour in food processor, and sift mixture two times. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then, whisk whites with mixer until foamy, and add cream of tartar, and whisk until soft peaks form. Next, add super fine sugar at high speed for about 68 minutes. Sift flour mixture over whites, and fold over until smooth and shiny. Then, transfer batter into a pastry bag. Let the mixture stand at room temperature for fifteen minutes. Reduce the oven to 325 degrees. Bake for ten minutes or until crisp and firm. Bake with love and affection. Let them cool on the sheet for 2-3 minutes. Lastly, sandwich two macaroons with one teaspoon filling.
