A fun, imaginative, and powerful learning experience which fosters independent creative self expression, positive learner-teacher relationships, and teamwork on collaborative class projects.
A vibrant, multi-sensory learning experience which integrates learner’s knowledge and skills into traditionally text-oriented subjects and motivates learner’s desire to explore topics in which they may previously have been less interested.
Now that we have reached the fourth quarter and have decided on topics for final projects, let's give ourselves a jump start by creating a visual essay on Glogster. Glogster allows you to create a virtual poster and include text, graphics, sound and even video!
Your visual essay should include the following:
1. Your essential question.
2. A quote about gender that in some way displays your theme or concept.
3. A link to a website that addresses your topic--a new one--not the one from your previous blog post.
4. A visual symbol that represents your topic.
6. optional: an embedded video that relates somehow to your topic.
Consider also the overall look of your poster. How can you arrange the elements to make your point? Consider design, color, and placement.
When you are done with your glogster, please link it to this page in the proper space below. You'll present your glogsters to the class on Thursday, April
